Released 9 June 2026
Cancel your subscription yourself
You can now cancel a paid subscription yourself, and change your mind before it ends. The founding member discount is applied when you pay, and signup credits on new accounts survive a plan change.
New features
Cancel subscription
Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for. If you change your mind before then, you can turn the subscription back on.
Enhancements
- If you signed up after this change, the credits you got at signup now survive a plan change, including a move back to Free. Older accounts still lose them.
- The founding member offer no longer shows if you're already paying, or if you've had a paid subscription before. It's only for first-time subscribers, so there was nothing you could do with it.
Bug fixes
- If you're subscribing for the first time, the founding member discount now comes off your total before you pay, and it stays if you later change plans. The offer promised that all along, but you used to be charged the standard price.
- Deleting your account now takes you off the marketing email list. It used to leave you on it, so the email kept coming after your account was gone.
